Intimate 1.5 bdrm guest cottage, peaceful acreage.

Relax and enjoy some time in the country in beautiful Ridgefield, WA. Experience a fully updated guest cottage all to yourself. We are in a private setting but just 35 minutes from Portland, OR. We offer 5 acres with a combination of mature forest and open land where you have great privacy and space to roam. You can explore many local wineries, beautiful hiking trails, local events or simply relax and watch the birds from the patio. We hope you enjoy your stay. (Hosts live in the house nearby) The space Our guest cottage will sleep seven. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the second sleeping area offers a bunk bed that is a twin over a full (please note that this is not a second bedroom but more of a cove area (no door but does sit back away from the other rooms), and our sofa offers a full size sleeper bed. All mattresses are new and quite comfy! There's also a living/dining area that spacious and comfortable, a full kitchen complete with coffee maker, blender, toaster and more. In the bathroom you'll find the new stacking washer and dryer, a bathtub/shower combo and a spacious vanity. There are three tv's in the cottage with Netflix, free wifi, and numerous board/card games. We've put a lot of thought into every little detail from the furniture to the decor and we hope you'll love it as much as we do! We also have four adorable and friendly Nigerian Dwarf goats and a mini horse that absolutely love saying hi to our guests. Should you desire to pet them just let the hosts know. Our 15 hens are quite loved and spoiled as well. They show their gratitude by laying a dozen or more eggs a day for us. Eggs are available for purchase when available for $6/dozen. Please just reach out to the hosts before or during your stay to make your egg request known. In addition to all that the Country Cottage offers, one of the hosts is a professional photographer and she is always willing schedule a session for you if she's in town (just let the hosts know before your arrival that you'd like more info on the photography packages/options). Guest access You will drive down a private gravel road where our house (the main residence ) and the Country Cottage is located. There are only two other houses farther down our private drive. Guests will park in a designated parking spot next to the guest cottage. There is room for two vehicles. Other things to note We do ask for consideration of our neighbors and our family...quiet hours are between 9pm and 8am. We appreciate you adhering to this request.
