Nearby, you'll find lovely parks, walking trails, and quaint shops, making it an ideal spot for you if you’re looking to explore the beauty of Maine while enjoying a homey atmosphere! This cozy home has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open floor plan for the kitchen, dining, & living room! 4 people can stay here very comfortably. A peaceful and relaxing setting, nestled in the trees, along the water’s edge! This gem of a house features a mostly wooded interior with a beautiful cathedral ceiling! 2 sets of sliding glass doors that lead out to a catwalk overlooking trees and water. There’s also a screened in deck, that steps down from the kitchen area, complete with table and chairs. Both spots are perfect for your morning coffee, an evening glass of wine, or a meal outside on the patio table! The master bedroom (loft) with queen size bed has built in drawers in the wall and a large walk in closet. The master bathroom, right at the top of the stairs, has a full size tub and shower combo along with 2 vanities and 2 sinks. The second bedroom on the first floor has a full size bed. There’s also a closet and under the bed drawers that pull out. Right outside the bedroom door is the (main) full size bathroom. This bathroom has a step in shower. We find that this bathroom is perfect for older guests who find stepping over the side of a tub to be difficult. We also have an office with a desk and chair along with a full size couch/futon. Making the office space cozy for those who must work while on vacation. The living room area is shared with the dining area, meaning all open space. We have a tv that runs on the internet so please bring your log in info with you for watching tv. We do not have cable. A futon style sofa for lounging on, coffee table, and a circular table with 4 comfy dining room chairs. Lastly, but not least the kitchen! This fully equipped kitchen has beautiful granite counters and all newer, modern appliances. We even have a large pot for cooking lobsters during your stay! No dishwasher, washing machine, nor dryer. Laundromats close by though!! Guest access We have a private driveway for parking, with plenty of space for backing up and turning around too! Other things to note This is a higher end home! The homeowners & host take pride in this property. No Guests under 18! This is a strict policy, ADULTS ONLY please. Must be 21 to book this property. TV does NOT have cable. However we have great WiFi internet for streaming! We also offer a few games/cards for those who prefer to unplug and just enjoy time together without the TV.
