We welcome you to our private, family run ranch in beautiful Vail, Arizona. Surrounded by mountain views and within a short driving distance to scenic destinations, Tucson, state and federal lands, rodeo activities and wine country. Loreana Ranch offers a cozy, rustic stay in our 900 sq. ft. casita for up to 4 guests. Hikers and trail enthusiasts will find the Arizona trail nearby with state land out our front door. We also welcome those traveling with horses! The space Our casita is a semi-attached 900 sq ft home with a cozy, rustic feel, on private property. Guests will enjoy everything a typical home has to offer with exception of a washer/dryer. The main house is separated by the casita via a private wall and permanently locked back door. Our permanent residents include a family of 5, 3 horses, 3 dogs, 5 goats, a few barn cats and several chickens. Guests are welcome to walk the property and greet the animals, but are not allowed to enter the paddocks/pens or outbuildings without permission due to safety. The casita has a full kitchen with oven/stove, full sized refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and Keurig coffee machine with complimentary coffee, tea, creamer and sugars. Relax in the comfortable living room with queen sized sleeper sofa and 50 inch TV with blue-ray DVD player. The casita is equipped with Starlink WiFi and several streaming services to include Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu and ESPN Plus for guest use. Enjoy the large bedroom with oversized closets and plenty of storage. The bed is a Queen sized bed and we have air mattresses available upon request. The bedroom is separate from the living room via a sliding barn door for privacy. Bedroom and living room both overlook the south and southeast part of the property where farm animals may be seen. A back patio is attached to the casita where guests can sit and enjoy the views of the mountains and farm animals. A gas grill is also available for use by the guests. Our property overlooks 4 mountain ranges: The Rincon Mountains to the North, the Santa Rita Mountains to the West, and the Empire Mountains to the South and Southeast. Hiking, biking, and UTVs are allowed on the property, and trails are accessible out our front gate! State land borders 2 sides of the property, and the Arizona Trail is less than 1.5 miles down the road. Several additional items for guest use are available to include games, books, movies, yoga mats, airbeds, Pack N' Play, and high chair. If there is something specific needed, we will do our best to accommodate. Guest access Welcome to Loreana Ranch!! As you enter the property, there will be a private gate which we have for our security and that of our animals. When you arrive, please contact the host to allow you into the property and direct you to the casita. Parking is conveniently located in front of the casita entrance. Other things to note For wine enthusiasts, the closest winery is only 2.3 miles down the road! An abundance of breweries and vineyards can also be found just a short, beautiful drive down Scenic SR 83 to Sonoita and Elgin. Loreana Ranch is less than an hour drive to Tombstone, 47 miles from Patagonia Lake State Park, 27 miles to Sabino Canyon , 25 miles to downtown Tucson, 22 miles to Santa Cruz County Fair and Rodeo grounds in Sonoita, and 19 miles to Kartchner Caverns State Park. Although we are rural, we are only 5 minutes to Interstate 10.
