18th century farmhouse in the heart of the Pays d'Othe

Our house is an 18th century farmhouse on the edge of the Othe Forest in a very quiet hamlet 13 km from Aix-en-Othe (shops, café, market...), 28 km from Pontigny Abbey, 45 km from the Chablis vineyards and 58 km from Troyes. In summer, possibility of swimming in a landscaped body of water (with snack and small beach) 13 km away. Our house is ideal for families with children or couples of friends who love peace and nature. The space The ground floor consists of: - a large kitchen/dining room with fireplace - a living room equipped with a wood-burning stove - a bathroom (shower) + separate toilet - a laundry room The floor consists of: - a large bedroom with 1 double bed - a bedroom with 1 double bed - a bedroom with 2 single beds - a large bathroom (bathtub, two sinks) + separate toilet - an office/library area with a sofa bed (extra double bed) The house has central heating and high-quality insulation, which makes it as pleasant to live in winter as in summer. Excellent Wi-Fi network. The exterior consists of two large gardens of 1000 and 4000 m² with vegetable garden, compost, fruit trees, Japanese cherry tree, cedar of Lebanon... and a converted barn (possibility of dining there). You will also find an outdoor table, barbecue, deckchairs, ping pong table. Children are welcome and will find many books, DVDs and games available. We also provide baby equipment (baby bed, potty, bathtub...)
