The private backyard was thoughtfully planned to facilitate outdoor living. The areas include a resort-like saltwater swimming pool and spa, refreshing outdoor shower, grill and adjacent covered dining, built-in bocce ball court, fire pit, and a variety of lounge and seating areas. For cooking at home the gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for everyday as well as holiday cooking. Grill tools are provided for the outdoor grill. And the home is fully stocked with dinnerware and serveware for both indoor and outdoor dining. The kitchen also includes a Nespresso machine, drip coffee maker, blender, and toaster. The open plan kitchen/dining/living area has a high ceiling, original mid-century fireplace, and modern designer furnishings that create an ideal space for coming together with family and friends. While the wall-length windows and sliding glass doors present clear views of the swimming pool and mountain backdrop. In contrast to the open flow living spaces, the cozy bedrooms, with room darkening shades, provide comfort, privacy, and retreat. The primary bedroom has a dedicated workspace with desk and chair. It also has an outdoor patio with seating. The ensuite bathroom has direct access to the backyard and outdoor shower. Both the primary bedroom and bedroom 2 have king size beds with Casper memory foam mattresses and wall-mounted smart TVs. Bedroom 3 is a quiet space with a queen size bed with Nest Bedding memory foam mattress. Both bathrooms have walk-in showers and are supplied with hair dryers, Brooklinen towels, and Public Goods amenities. The pool, however, can be heated (to 88 degrees) for an additional fee of $80/day. A full 24 hours notice is required for pool heating and will be charged separately. No glassware is permitted near the pool at any time. Only plastic dishes and drinkware are to be used outdoors. GRILL The outdoor grill is fully equipped for all grilling needs, grilling utensils provided. PARKING There is off-street parking for three cars (the maximum allowable overnight) in the driveway and carport. If necessary, daytime visitors may park on the street but only directly in front of the residence. NO SMOKING No smoking of any kind (including vaping) is allowed on the property. If smoking is detected $500 will be deducted from your security deposit. NO OUTDOOR MUSIC No tolerance policy. Palm Springs strictly enforces a noise ordinance. This includes specifications that “amplified music is not allowed outside of your vacation rental unit” and “on-property citations for noise… are $500 for a first citation and $1000 for any following citations.” As the renter you will be responsible for these fines. Also as a part of the city mandate, the local authorities may require the owner/property manager to report to the property at any time. In this event the renter will be charged $250 and be subjected to eviction. POOL & LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE The pool is serviced twice a week Monday and Thursday. The landscape crew is onsite every Wednesday between 12-3. Both services will access the backyard by way of the west gate. TRASH & RECYCLING Palm Springs Disposal picks up every Thursday. The service will move the bins to the curb, empty and return. The brown bin is trash and the blue bin is recycling. SAFETY & SECURITY The house is equipped with smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. Fire extinguishers and first aid kits are available. For your safety and the safety of others, security cameras are installed outdoors on this property. There are 2 cameras: one at the west gate facing the street and driveway and one at the front door. OCCUPANCY, PARTIES & EVENTS Per Palm Springs Ordinance, vacation rentals are prohibited from hosting parties or events. Maximum overnight occupancy is 6 and daytime occupancy is 10. No more than 3 cars are permitted on or near the property at any time. COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING Any commercial photography or filming requires pre-approval and additional fees. CHECK-IN & ACCESS Palm Springs requires in-person check-in. You’ll be met at check-in by our Property Manager and you’ll be provided a unique four digit code for access into the home. ***PLEASE READ - RENTAL AGREEMENT*** By booking, you acknowledge that you are at least 25 years of age and you agree to sign and return a written rental agreement (City of Palm Springs Vacation Rental Statement of Rules & Regulations) prior to 48 hours of occupancy date. ID verification is required. If date of booking is within 48 hours of occupancy, the rental agreement must be signed and returned upon receipt for immediate filing with the city. All legitimate, licensed vacation rentals in Palm Springs follow vacation rental laws to remain in business. These include occupancy limits, good neighbor policies, party-free homes, collection of separate hotel taxes, no outdoor music permitted, ensuring all renters are over the age of 25 (unless accompanied by parent or legal guardian), and a contract signed by the responsible renter with ID verification.
