Quintessential Austin + goats! Artist's urban farm and pottery 3 blocks to downtown in a garden setting- walk to breakfast tacos, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, music & galleries. Clean. Quiet. Zen. Full kitchen, wood floors, high ceilings, clawfoot tub, central AC/heat. Art. Tons of birds, wildlife + 2 friendly goats, a playful cat & giant tortoise share the yard. Smoke-free. Blocks to Austin Convention Center, Rainey St, 6th, SXSW, Hike & Bike trails, lake, 6th St. Easy for ACL, Formula 1. The space This is my home and en-vivo art project, and is available once in a while when I travel! Very friendly indoor/outdoor cat included! Its lovely, quirky, comfortable, and is a sanctuary for me and my animals, and for you if you'd like to visit! A humble 1930 one-bedroom with great outdoor living space, gardens, and in the perfect location for access to everything Austin has to offer! Walk to breakfast tacos, the lake and hike n bike trail, tons of bars and restaurants, breweries, live music, 6th street, or the convention center. The neighborhood is urban and very walkable, with big shade trees and usually very quiet. Scooters can also be rented within a block. Clawfoot tub, wood floors, art studio with pottery wheel, tons of my own art and pottery in the house, small office space, front and back porches, swings, lots of garden places to sit and ponder. TV is set up with Roku and a couple local stations. Wireless internet. AC, heat. Full kitchen for gas cooking with breakfast bar and small dining table, or sit outside in the pergola. Two very loving and friendly miniature goats live on the back porch and one side of the yard, and are an excellent source of on-demand goat therapy. A very large sulcata tortoise also wanders free in the garden. Or enjoy the fire pit in the back yard during wet seasons, or the wood stove in the living room on the rare occasion it's cold! Guest access The whole house is yours, though I do have 2 other small houses on the property that are occupied by very a friendly and respectul tenant and another very small (tiny house) airbnb unit. The yard is split between the goat side and the non-goat side for easy entry and exit. The house is on a quarter acre with organic gardens, has a full kitchen, bath, bedroom (queen size memory foam bed), living room, art room, front and back covered porches, internet, tv, and an amazing location 3 blocks east of downtown for your visit. We have honey bee hives too in the very far back yard! No need to interact with them if you're not interested. Other things to note Seeking only non-smoker, quiet, good energy, healthy, mature, animal loving people (sorry no pets allowed) to stay and gently use my place. Look forward to hosting you!
