We have some surprises for you at Gateway Cottage! We hope you'll come share them. It's the historic homeplace for a family of seven who lived here for 100 years. It's now a blend of farmhouse and contemporary. This cottage is also a blend of country and town, with plenty of space to spread out, relax, walk our 3 acres, view mountains, and watch the deer. Need something you might have at home? I bet we've thought of it! You'll be surprised to find how well-equipped Gateway Cottage is. The space As previous guests have noted, Gateway Cottage is cozy. Although we have only one bedroom, each room feels spacious. Most of our furnishings and appliances are new, each tastefully chosen. We splurged on amenities for our guests! At the same time, we have maintained and honor the historic features of the house. We have 3 landscaped acres which overlook a private pond. The Peaks of Otter beckon throughout seasonal changes. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, including large deck and small private deck outside the bedroom. Guests can also wander and play in the large 1.6 acre yard. You also have access to the yard beyond the row of ornamental grass. We like to view the mountains and small pond with geese and deer from here. Pergola, seating area and firepit coming this spring. Other things to note Please let us know about anything specific you don't find in Gateway Cottage. We have a quiet neighborhood. Please respect.
