Silverlake / Virgil Tiny House with Backyard Oasis

Come enjoy our tiny house in the amazing East Hollywood neighborhood of 'Virgil Village' and Silverlake! Recently renovated, our home is beautifully & comfortably furnished for the ultimate indoor-outdoor LA experience. Whether you're visiting for a weekend or a few weeks, our home is the perfect space in one of LA's best - and most central - locations for relaxing, socializing, or remote work. The space Our home has everything you need for the ideal Hollywood getaway. It is designed to give you a "true local's" LA experience, while at the same time ensuring chic comfort, relaxation, as well as privacy, and safety. Enjoy your own *fully enclosed* private backyard oasis with a cold refreshing drink and a favorite book while enjoying the outdoor sofa & lounge furniture — with your doggy too, if they’ve come along. The bedroom is furnished with a teak queen-sized bed with side tables & lamps that offer charging capabilities for your mobile devices. There is also a closet with hangers for your clothes and room for you to place your suitcase. The bathroom is located in the bedroom and stocked with towels and additional personal care items you might need. Unlike many investment properties, we aren't managed by a large impersonal company, and we live there part-time, so it's truly as important to us that the home is as great as described. Guest access The 'Virgil Village' neighborhood is on the west edge of Silverlake and sits directly south of another trendy vibrant area called Los Feliz. As you can see, you're right in the center of a vibrant ‘up-and-coming’/already arrived(?) fun neighborhood with lots of great eateries, cafes, and shops. It is a true authentic ‘local’s area’ where real LA’ers live, so rest assured you won’t be bumping into lots of other tourists. That said, you’re not far from tourist attractions you might wanna see and do! :) Parking is on the street -- free and without time limits -- except on street cleaning days (Wednesday and Friday between 11am-2pm), so be sure to read the signs carefully. Because you're in a desirable area, sometimes you'll have to circle around a couple of times, but people are constantly popping in and out, so it doesn't take long to find parking compared to other areas (like West Hollywood where it's near impossible). That said, renting a car isn't really necessary, because it's often easier and less expensive to just use Uber & Lyft. Other things to note Allergies/adverse to dogs: Please note that we are pet-friendly listing, and as such, many guests come with their dog. (around half of our guests). A professional cleaning team is used after each and every stay; they even specifically spend extra time working to remove any pet hair. However, for anyone with allergies/adverse to dogs, please note that it is not possible to guarantee that all traces of pets are removed.
