The Happy Camper - Glamping & Black River floating

A great place to unplug and get away from it all! The Happy Camper includes a covered outdoor kitchen area, a firepit and additional beds in the adjacent cabin. The location is located nearby numerous outdoor gems including the Black River, Taum Sauk, Mountain , Sam Baker State Park, the Ozark Trail and mountain biking areas. The property has a year-round creek flowing through it to enjoy and explore. The adjacent "Cabin on the Creek" is also available to rent if you need more space. The space This is a rural "glamping" location outside of Annapolis on approximately 8 acres. There are 2 other cabins on the property - 1 is also rented out and the other is private. This is a relaxing location to come enjoy some quiet and explore the outdoors. The spring-fed creeks on the property are normally shallow and flow year-round. The creeks are great for children to play in and explore. The highlight is the covered outdoor kitchen, which includes an outdoor stove, sink, tables, and a screened-in portion. There is a propane grill outside. This is a glamping experience. Note that this area does not have reliable cellular phone service, and limited (slow) WiFi is provided. Come to relax, play outdoors, read and unplug. There is room for 3 people to sleep in the camper (1 Queen bed in the bedroom and 1 twin bed in the living area). The rental includes a 1-room cabin that can sleep 2 additional people in twin beds. The only stove is outdoors. There is no working oven but there is a mini-oven/air fryer. The refrigerator is indoors and full sized. There is a microwave in the camper. Guest access The property is entered off Highway C. A shallow creek must be crossed, which is normally passable in any car but can rise during heavy rain. We do recommend using a vehicle with high clearance if possible (truck, SUV). There are multiple uncovered parking spots. The surrounding area is private property. There are many wonderful outdoor places to explore a short drive away. Annapolis is less than a 10 minute drive away. During heavy rain, the creek can become impassable. Other things to note There is a 2nd Airbnb rental on the property, as well as 2 private cabins. Both are visible from the rental. The 2nd Airbnb is listed as " cabin on the creek" if you need more space and are interested in renting both units. Cell phones generally do not get a signal here at all. We have Wifi but it can be slow and has limited data - you can use the Wifi for emergencies and messaging but may not be ideal to stream movies or work. Use this as a chance to unplug.
