This 2 story quintessential beach cottage is located towards the end of the Balboa Peninsula and is less than 700 feet to the Ocean (a 3 minute leisurely walk!). Once you enter the classic brick styled cottage you will find the high ceiling Living Room with large sectional and 2 club chairs surrounding the gas fireplace and TV. On the first level you will also find the Primary Bedroom with a Queen sized bed and another TV. French doors lead out from the Primary Bedroom into the secluded private backyard. Next to the Primary Bedroom is a recently remodeled full bathroom with shower featuring a heated floor and Toto bidet. High end finishes and materials from Waterworks and Farrow & Ball are used throughout the bathroom. An open dining room and kitchen (note: there is no dishwasher) are also located on the first floor. The kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking and baking essentials. From the large dining room another set of French doors lead out onto the beautifully landscaped and designed backyard. On the second level, up a flight of stairs, you will find 2 more bedrooms (1 Full sized bed and 1 Queen sized bed), both with desks. Adjoining both of the bedrooms is a recently remodeled Jack and Jill bathroom with shower tub combo, heated floor and Toto bidet. Last, but not least, the outdoor backyard will be your own private sanctuary. The professionally manicured backyard comes complete with sun chaise loungers, a large sectional and dining area with gas grill. You can access the detached 1 car garage and laundry room by walking through the backyard. 2 bike cruisers, 4 beach chairs with a beach umbrella, and 2 body boards are available...as well as beach toys and games for your young ones during your stay. 1 very small car may fit in the garage and there is also plenty of free street parking. The cottage has mini-split Fujitsu ac/heating units and ceiling fans throughout the cottage and is equipped with Apple TV, Sonos sound speakers, Amazon Echo digital clocks, phone chargers, and Lutron dimmer switches for all the lights. A water softener filter for the cottage is also equipped to soften water and eliminate harsh minerals for your skin. The cottage is available for long term stays of a minimum of 31 nights only. Bi-weekly cleaning service of the cottage is included in your reservation. There are voice activated Amazon Echos throughout the home for your convenience. All the devices have the shutter closed over the camera. The slider button on top of the device should be positioned to the right. You may also unplug the devices if you would prefer not to use them during your stay.
