River Access Access the river directly from River’s Edge or walk to Mager’s Crossing for some of the easiest entry points on the Frio. We also offer rentals that sleep anywhere from 2 to 18 guests. Other things to note We provide a starter pack of essentials: 1 roll of paper towels, coffee filters, dish soap, hand soap, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, and trash bags. Beds come fully made with linens, comforters, pillows, and mattress pads. Guests receive 1 bath towel & 1 washcloth per person. Additional supplies should be replenished by guests as needed. Cell service is limited — AT&T and T-Mobile generally work best, but coverage can be spotty. A great reason to unplug! Please remember: This is the authentic Frio River experience. While many guests camp or stay in tents, our lodges offer comfort and convenience while keeping that Hill Country charm.
