Welcome to Big Bear! Relax with the whole family in this peaceful cabin located in the Sugarloaf neighborhood of Big Bear. This charming mountain cabin with modern amenities is located in a highly wooded and secluded neighborhood. This cabin has lots of natural light and an open floor plan and layout. The space ↦ Great location ↦ Close to Snowboard and Ski Resorts ↦ Grizzly Ridge tube park and Big Bear Snow Play is 5 min away! ↦ Zoo, Golf Course, Big Bear Village, Vons, Starbucks, Local pubs, Restaurants and more. ↦ Smart TV in the living room. ↦ Fully equipped kitchen. ↦ Wood burning fire place (must bring your own firewood) • Linens and towels are provided. • High speed internet (200mbps/download), • Kitchen includes pots and pans, bakeware, silverware, and a microwave. • There is NO central air conditioning (A/C), like many Big Bear homes. • Central heating available in the house with a Nest thermostat, which may be controlled by host not to go below a certain temperature. (Space heaters are available for upstairs use as the heat takes some time to get to the 2nd story) • outdoor BBQ grill (propane tanks are provided, if one needs to be refilled we ask the guest to have them refilled down the street and we will reimburse you for the cost) *The massage chair can be used as a chair only. Unfortunately one of the guest broke the motor and the massage function is inoperable.* • The heater on the deck is not available for use. Snow removal from driveway is arranged before check-in time, but guests may need to shovel their parking spot if they arrive late after it's been snowing or if it snows during their stay. But don't worry, it's part of the mountain experience and multiple shovels are provided so everyone can pitch in! Please note, street parking is strictly prohibited in winter. Chain requirements may also be in effect if it snows. All guests booking a stay in winter should anticipate the possibility of tire chains being necessary to travel to Big Bear, and should check the weather forecast and road conditions before heading up. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire cabin. Other things to note Max Occupancy: 8 Parking: 2 cars driveway parking, no street parking allowed No pets allowed Winter Parking & Snow Removal Information: • We ensure the driveway is plowed before your check-in for easy access. However, if it snows during your stay, guests are responsible for clearing their vehicles using the provided snow shovel. • If you prefer to have the driveway plowed again during your stay, we may be able to arrange it for an additional fee, subject to availability.
