Relax with the whole family and friends at this peaceful cottage. Enjoy the well appointed, mostly secluded, home amid the trees. Visit in surrounding areas for antiquing, festivals, fishing, drive through safari and holiday activities. Miniature donkeys can be heard braying. 1 to 2 Small to medium size dogs welcome. Comfortable for 5 persons although 6 persons can fit. No fencing on property and the Kayak is just for decoration. Insurance stays welcome The space Owen's Pond is a 2 bedroom and one bath cottage with laundry facilities. The large master bedroom has a desk for working. The lighted deck stretches across the entire length of the home with several seating options. The pond contains both bass and blue gill and fishing with young children usually results in a catch or two of a good sized fish. Catch and release appreciated. The feeding of the fish is just as fun for guests. You may get a glimpse of the Turtles and Green Herons. The kitchen has all the amenities needed to feel right at home. Bathroom is supplied with towels, soaps, shampoo and oral care needs. A Wii game system and various games are available. I provide some laundry detergent and dishwasher soap for a couple of washes. Elkhart has restaurants, a donut shop, dollar type stores and a small grocery store in the Shell Gas station. Palestine is a short drive away and has a lot to offer visitors and fishermen. I provide starter items for a couple days worth of coffee, tea and paper towels.
