The space The cabin sits on an acre of land. Private driveway with plenty of room for vehicles, snowmobile or boat trailers. If you need extra room, there is an electric and water hookup for a RV/camper next to the cabin, available in the summer only. No septic hookup. Dumping station 15 minutes away. Local lakes do not have a boat launch for big boats. Kayaks, rowboats, canoes, or any other small boats are ideal. There are two lakes within a mile from the cabin. Fishermen and hunters welcome. The fall brings beautiful landscapes of colors, quilted in reds, oranges and yellows. Plan a hike north and see the breathtaking views. In the winter, snowmobilers will be within 400 feet of Trackside Blazers Trail S71 and Bear Creek Rd Junction. NYS registration and insurance are required. Old Forge is just 16 miles north - trail permits are required to ride Old Forge trails. Less than 25 miles from 3 ski hills - McCauley, Snow Ridge and Woods Valley. Snowshoeing and cross country skiing locally. So much to do for the avid outdoorsman. This is a dead end road in a very quiet neighborhood. Surrounded by trees with seasonal neighbors. The neighborhood consists mostly of lakes and trees. Essential groceries are not far away. Beds sleep 4 people. Need more room? There is a couch and 2 sleeping mats under the bed for up to 3 extra guests. Maintenance person is right down the road. Lawn is maintained. Driveway is kept plowed during winter months. Take a hike, bike, fish or hunt at the end of the road on over 125,000 acres of state land. The private trails will take you to ponds and lakes rarely visited by people. In the afternoon, kayak the nearby lake and listen to the loon songs. Only 16 miles south of Old Forge, 45 minutes from Utica. So much to explore no matter the season.
