1920s Beach shack- 1 bed 1 bath upstairs apartment with an enclosed porch, pool and 1 block to the beach. Ideal for traveling workers or snowbirds looking for a month to month stay. The property is owned by a jax beach local and has been passed down through the family. This is our little slice of paradise! It is not the prettiest at the beach but it will always come with friendly faces and good vibes to make your stay feel like home! The space One mile from Baptist Beaches hospital and 5 miles from Mayo Clinic. Take a stroll about a mile down the beach towards the Pier to find local restaurants and beach bars. Local food favorites: Angies, Angies Grom, Sun Deli, Surfwhich, Hot Dog Hut, Poes Tavern, Maple Street Kaiba Japanese Restaurant (Same street as property, next to Beach Hut) Beach Hut Cafe (Same street as this property, Fantastic breakfast diner) Night Life: Lemon Bar, Gingers Place- Haunted Bar, The Ritz, Flask and Cannon, Surfer, Lynches The Pavilion area holds events throughout the month such as art markets, food truck days, concerts, etc. Publix and Target are a 10 min drive, 30 min from the airport. No Parties, No pets, No Smoking Inside. Quiet time for outside starts at 10:30pm. DISCLAIMER: This is an older house. Don't be surprised if you hear creaks while walking around. If you are not okay with an older home, this may not be the right fit for you! This property promises local advice, fantastic location, a bit of paradise close by and pool loungers, but we cant promise luxury! Roku, Keurig, internet is provided. Guest access Parking is VERY LIMITED in the back alley directly behind the apartment! There is always free parking across the street at the beach lot if need be. You can get around the beaches area by car, bike or walking as everything you need is close by. Other things to note We do not have a washer/dryer in this unit. There is a laundromat a few blocks from the property.
