Introducing Gertrude! This sweet 1972 Ace Camper joined our airbnb family in May 2022. She is renovated and thoughtfully outfitted, just the thing for a simple stay in nature at Hurricane Hill, our beautiful, 48-acre historic fiber farm. Lounge in the the hammock, put your feet up around the fire pit, clean up in the outdoor shower, then sleep like a baby and wake up to sheep and llama munching nearby. Please Note: 2 guest, 4-night maximum with a 3-7 PM check-in and we do not offer wifi. This is a small cozy camper with two seating areas-one couch and one table with booth seats. These double as beds: small doubles (aka not standard). The former kitchen area still provides amenities and there is a small fridge, but any cooking takes place outside on the grill. We have an outdoor toilet and shower with on-demand hot water. There is also a small sink. We provide you with our delicious well water for drinking. There is ample space to store your bag/s-and your vehicle will be nearby. Also outdoors: a hammock, fire pit (we provide the wood) and seating area. This is a private stay-with an area that is just for you but we are a working farm so you will likely see us working out on the farm with our sheep and in the large vegetable and fruit garden. We provide you with a map of the farm and its trails and encourage you to explore. We live and work on the property - our goal is for you to have a quiet and peaceful stay, but we also want you to enjoy the amenities we provide to their fullest-we are always a text call (or door knock) away! Bring boots or walking shoes if you have them! Two night stay only Check-in window is 3-7. This is not negotiable unless you have a last minute emergency.
