The farm house is one-of-a-kind; charming, comfortable, complete with unique furnishings and modern amenities such as 100 Mbps WiFi and Roku TVs. The space The 1400 sq ft cottage is a single family dwelling, located near Picayune, MS. It is minutes from I-59 and only 20 minutes from I-10/ I-12. The property has a spacious, enclosed yard and is located in proximity to Chickie's Roost, also an AirBnB property, should guests want to occupy both listings. Chickie's Cottage has many unique features, such as a large front porch with ample seating on which to view the pecan orchard and pastures beyond. The spacious, open kitchen features Cherrywood cabinets, an antique butcherblock table, an electric oven, gas range, full refrigerator, microwave, two coffee makers and is well stocked with necessary kitchen items. There are beaded board walls and wide heart pine floorings, and a desk provides a workspace if needed. The laundry room has a washer/dryer combo complete with detergent and cleaning items. The bath has a large walk-in shower and an elevated toilet and is complete with shower essentials, towels and hair dryer. The bedrooms each have a door for privacy and have a closet, dresser or Armoire for hanging clothes. Additionally, there is a family game room with a sleeper futon, a Roku TV, stereo, exercise equipment and various games. The farm house is furnished with many unusual or antique pieces of furniture, making it not only a mental, but a visual treat as well. It is not just a place to spend the night, but rather a place to truly relax and connect with. Guest access The cottage is a short drive from Picayune, less than 5 minutes. There is a dedicated parking space for guests. Guests are welcome to use the front and back yards. Other things to note Our cats are friendly and are free to move about the property as they wish, and may come to visit guests while they are here. If you are planning on bringing pets please remember the $25 pet fee, and please keep your pet on a leash to avoid any conflicts.
