Welcome to your eco-friendly Texas retreat! You have full access to your side of the property, about 5 acres. It includes: • the main house, with 2000 sqft indoor space + 600sqft outside porch • outside covered pavillion/gazebo for activities, with an additional 600sqft of space, and electric outlets • a couple of short trails to explore • plenty of outside space The property is fully fenced, but the main gate is usually left open. You'll be able to self-check in and will have the place and your side of the ranch (5 acres) for yourself, with utmost privacy. You only have neighbors to one side (behind the house). We are usually not far, and will be able to help should you have any questions. The location is unique because it feels secluded and serene, yet you're only 5 minutes away from downtown Wimberley, including restaurants, shopping, bars, and grocery stores. Fun things only 5 minutes away: the Blue Hole, Jacobs Well and Cypress Falls (you can swim in any of these), Shady Llama, and Driftwood Winery (for awesome drinks with gorgeous views). You can also play golf at the Woodcreek golf course 5 minutes away, disc golf and crazy golf at Dreamland Driping Springs. Dripping springs is only 15 minutes away! We have plenty of recommendations where to go, from hikes, wineries, breweries. See our guidebook or reach out directly to us for ideas. You will need a car to make the most of the area, though you can walk around in the property, and can cycle into town and around the Hill Country if you bring your own bike. There is plenty of parking on property. There are a number of walks or bicycle tours you can take from the property, such as getting to Jacobs Well, Cypress Creek or Blue Hole via one of the trails. The latter will take you all the way to Wimberley. PETS AND WILDLIFE The property is welcoming to kids and pets, but you’ll be responsible for their supervision at all times. We manage the property to be wildlife friendly. We have plenty of birds that come around. In the right seasons, we are also visited by deer and other wildlife, though they tend to be scared of guests and movement. Generally outside we recommend to keep dogs on a leash. WEDDINGS & EVENTS We allow events, but they are subject to special rules and minimum stay requirements. Reach out if you have something in mind!
