Welcome to our family-owned bunkie on 36 acres. Cozy sleeps two adults, four kids, wood stove, outdoor gas BBQ, fire pit, solar lights, short walk to outhouse. An outdoors mans dream come true. We Also have a yurt for and extended group size, just say when you inquire and I'll bundle the booking. The space Nestled in Ontario's Highlands, our property offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by sparkling lakes and lush forests. Towering pines and maples create a verdant canopy, alive with wildlife, while crystal-clear waters invite exploration and relaxation in this untamed Canadian wilderness. Guest access There is driveway access into our lot that you can park and turn around in. As you drive in you will see a smaller path that will lead you to the Bunkie. If you continue down the path another 600 feet their is a yurt (Stellar Haven ). If your interested in having a small group the bunkie and yurt would be perfect. At any point there may be another group enjoying the 36 acres. Both are situated to give a private and peaceful experience. Other things to note The Bunkie is off grid but has its own power supplied by a solar panel and battery bay with a backup generator. You can have the lights on and charge your devices for a curtain period of time, Dependent on Sun exposure or the use of the backup generator will be needed. A few flash lights and or candles are great packing items. Must pack item list *** Queen sized sheets and bedding for the murphy bed. We also have four twins sized beds that would need sheets and bedding as well. *** Water for your whole trip (10 litres per day recom.) *** Fire Wood based on your usage *** Dishcloth and Dish Towel *** Personal Towel and washcloth *** Toilet paper *** we have a backup generator, so bring a small jerry can of gas in case the Sun can't keep up to your power demands. (we don't supply gas onsite) Our outhouse is a short path away from the Bunkie. There is No Shower onsite so plan trips to the beach and only use soaps that are safe for waterways. Cold weather/fire starting issues : we provide a blow torch to help assist in making a fire for those not up to the challenge and also a kindling maker to make wood even smaller to assist in starting a fire. Trails and activities: The Bunkie has Some great trails for outdoor activities that are close by. Our Rd. (Madill Rd) connects right to a main trail that goes for km's into Tory hill. (look in photos for map) Walk on the many trails around or bring your Atv / Dirtbike / Snowmobile. No shortage of Activities! Have fun!
