Start your day with sunrise coffee or mimosas on the dock, then curl up with a book by the fire—or the electric fireplace during a fire ban. Slow down & savour the simple things. The space The open-concept main floor welcomes you with its bright, airy feel—perfect for unwinding after a day on the water. Upstairs, the private bedroom offers a restful retreat, complete with two cozy chairs for curling up with a book and a desk for those who need a quiet spot to work. Outdoors, unwind by the fire pit right beside the shoreline, or stroll to the dock, where two infinity chairs invite you to relax with a view. A paddleboard and kayak are ready for adventures on the water. While the beach area is marshy and not ideal for swimming, it’s perfect for exploring—just note that dogs will need a rinse after playtime there! The front deck offers a small table for four and two well-loved infinity chairs, while the back deck features a barbecue that doubles as an oven with a built-in element. Guest access A vehicle is essential for getting to and from town. Most of the route is paved, but the last short section is gravel, and the turnoff to the cottage is rough—please drive slowly to ensure a smooth arrival. If you love cycling, feel free to bring your bike and enjoy the scenic ride! Parking is available onsite. Other things to note • Available weekdays only in June, July, August, and September, as we use the cottage on weekends. • Please do not drink the tap water. • One kayak and a paddleboard are available to explore the lake (no life jackets provided). • Feel free to help yourself to firewood from the pile—if you can, a small donation to the hardworking person who gathers it is greatly appreciated! 😊
