Modern Catskills Getaway with Sauna

A modern cabin in the woods, on about three acres of forest, surrounded by babbling brooks and nestled between two Catskills trailheads and a fishing stream. This our full time residence, we airbnb it when we travel. It's a 5 minute drive from Margaretville's Main St with everything you need (including CVS, supermarket, restaurant, café), close to Roxbury, Andes, Bovina and for skiing, Plattekill and Belayre. The space The main house has 2 bedrooms (a king bed upstairs, a queen downstairs), 2 full bathrooms (one has a bathtub) and a large living space (kitchen + living room). And of course a working fireplace! Off the kitchen is the deck and patio with fire pit and Adirondack chairs. 30ft the house there is a detached cabin that houses a 40sqft sauna with an electric heater. The inside is completely sided with cedar – the smell is incredible! The house is very calm and quiet. There's a little stream of water on the property that you can hear at night. Dreamy. Other things to note Pets: dogs are welcome but make sure they don’t hang on the couch or beds! If the cleaner needs to vacuum furniture or wash sheets multiple times I’ll request an extra charge (usually between $50 and 100) for the extra work. Coffee: The place has a large French press and an Aeropress (+ a grinder from fine to coarse).
