Description

Under 3 miles from the quintessential VT town of Grafton, we welcome you to Pinehill. The 3 bedroom home is surrounded by horse filled meadows, a beaver pond, pines, and a beautiful old growth forest. It is very private and secluded but just minutes to downtown. Enjoy time on the deck, hanging around the fire pit or wood stove. There is plenty to explore in every season or do nothing if that's what you prefer. Perfect for families. Other things to note In Grafton center, you'll find a few fun things to do. The Phelp's Barn Tavern and the Grafton Inn have great food, and the two restaurants have very different atmospheres! The Inn is romantic and formal , with notable guests, including Ralph Waldo Emerson, Theodore Roosevelt, Oliver Wendell Holmes, Rudyard Kipling to name a few, and the Tavern is more laid back dining in a rustic barn including a beautiful bar that you can belly up to. MKT is our town market. They have all the essentials including locally made food and gifts. Down the road from the Inn is Grafton Ponds. A year round outdoor center with miles of hiking, biking, and ski trails. VAST trail access is less than a mile down the road from the house. For the downhill riders, we are close to 4 ski resorts. Magic is 11 miles, Stratton and Okemo are 23 miles, Bromley is 20 miles. Summer is a great time to visit Vermont! It has endless trails to wander, waterfalls, rivers, and streams to cool off in, or fish, kayak, and canoe. We have many beautiful State Parks to explore. There are many Festivals, Fairs, Farmer's Markets within our close community. Vermont is known for its fall foliage. Come experience the beauty of colors, whether it be on foot, by car, bike, or horse. Be sure to check out the Tunbridge Fair, aka The World's Fair. It surely is a step back in time. It runs from September 15-18 this year.
