Grindstone trail system can be accessed at the end of the road for hiking and mountain biking and grindstone lake is a 5 min drive away. There is everything you need in this home! Cooking utensils, linens, and games for children. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms upstairs and there is a sofa bed downstairs by the 1/2 bath. If there are any needs or special requests, I can be contacted after booking and will always TRY to accommodate the best I can! The home is up a steep mountain road. 4wd will be required when snowing and sometimes if there is too much snow that won’t even work!! There are only 2 stairs to get onto the porch and a keyless entry system gets you into the home. There are 3 parking spaces and only 3 cars allowed at the house. I will be available by text anytime needed to help with info about the house or the area. I love this neighborhood! It is quiet yet very close to town. On beautiful days, I enjoy the walk to and from midtown. About 45 minutes there and an hour 15 min home because it is more uphill. It takes about an hour to walk to the river and home and is a good workout because of the hill on the way back. We are surrounded by hiking and mountain biking trails!! The Grindstone trail system can be accessed at the end of the road about a 8-10 min walk from house There are 3 cars allowed to be parked at the home per village of Ruidoso rules. The home is located up a steep road as is much of Ruidoso and if there is a snowstorm, 4wd is necessary!! There is a reverse osmosis 7 stage drinking water filtration system that remineralizes the water. The faucet is on the sink and it is labeled. So no need to bring bottled water!
