Aardvark Acres Red Room

Welcome to this large, pleasant room in a historic "mansion", designated by the city of Greenville. Aardvark Acres still has uncompleted restoration details, overwhelmed by general charm and comfort. Enjoy the desk and office chair. Partake of the amenities in the upper foyer with full fridge and micro. We're an older couple who have traveled the world. Now we're letting the world come to us. Aardvark Acres is our home. Our cats tolerate your pets. We also have a dog who is fenced away from you. The space There are no small rooms at Aardvark Acres but Red Room is extra large. The ceilings are lofty. Seriously, the place is charming. This room is not always available as it is sometimes rented privately for long term stays. Do inquire. There is a sense of privacy in the second floor guest rooms, up a large, easy staircase. All bedrooms have doors with a lock and key. The upstairs lobby has an amenities station with micro, fridge, water dispenser, and pod coffee maker, also dishes and flatware. This is an historic mansion, with a plaque. That said, the old lady had a hard life. We've replaced floors and patched holes, but may have not gotten to a detail or two. Not your chain motel! Guest access You are totally welcome in our kitchen and living room. During your stay We let our guests set the tone. we can be pretty social, but if you choose, you'll hardly know we're here. Other things to note Aardvark Acres is near the Tar River, and the very pleasant Town Commons park. Also close is the Evans Street and Dickinson Avenue shopping/ restaurant district known as Uptown.
