Welcome to historic Bellows Falls. This private, romantic escape apartment is the ideal spot to relax, go antiquing, or to launch your amazing ski adventure. Walkable location to town or to a lovely wooded hike. A fully apportioned large kitchen with toaster and microwave gives you control of your meals. An electric fireplace keeps the space cozy and beautiful. We’ll provide basic breakfast essentials, eggs (if the chickens are laying), butter, breads, milk, fruit, and so on. Pro Palestine! The space This is a safe space. We practice LGBTQIA and BLM allyship. Pro Palestine You will enjoy a private apartment with its own 2 parking spaces. A key-code entry for privacy and security. No smoking of nicotine or cannabis is allowed. Vaping within reason will be tolerated and preferably outside. No controlled substance use is permitted anywhere, except by doctor’s prescription. The bedroom has a full closet and a Zinus 12-inch luxury mattress to ensure a good night’s rest after a day of adventure. The living room and kitchen are open so you can be cooking and watching Netflix at the same time. The futon couch has a super comfy, pillowy mattress that opens to a full size sleeper. We can open this into a bed for you ahead of time or leave it in couch formation—you let us know your preference. A fully apportioned kitchen allows you the choice of staying in and baking pies. Because that’s what we do in Vermont. A sweet antique kitchen set seats 4-6 close friends. A country living library is available in the laundry hallway (just in case you have the sudden urge to know how apple cider vinegar is made). The room with the furnace and water heater is only accessible through this space, so if a breaker trips or there is an urgent need to access the furnace room, we will let you know. The property is slightly bigger than half-an-acre and guests are welcome to explore the gardens and the chickens. There is a three-minute drive to the Amtrak for a five-hour ride to NYC. If you are arriving by train, we can arrange to pick you up. There aren’t cabs around here, or Ubers. So you need a car or a good friend with a car. Free parking in town. Some spots allow only two-hour parking. It’s about a 10-15 min walk to town. Very walkable!
