A bright, airy, refurnished cottage set in the grounds of an 18th century farm on the eastern shore of Chesapeake Bay, shared pool (your private use 8am to 11am, 2pm to 5pm) & dock. BBQ, deck chairs, picnic table, seating on water & dock The space With 400 yards of waterfront, on a navigable major fork of Chesapeake Bay, and 1000 feet away from the front door, the cottage is set amidst meadows and established woodland in the grounds of an 18th century farm. Bright and airy, the property opens into a high-ceilinged kitchen, dining and living area with a teak dining table that seats six. The living space includes a comfortable sofa, two arm chairs and a 55’’ smart TV. There is a Master with bath downstairs and upstairs an independent suite with a family bathroom with a shower and 2 bedrooms, each with two single beds. Bedrooms have full closets and smart TVs. Bathrooms have basic toiletries, hair dryers and towels. Cozy yet modern, the cottage was recently painted, decorated and furnished. It has tight-fitting windows and doors, with hardwood floors downstairs and carpet upstairs. There is access to a salt water shared pool (til Oct 1) and 100 ft dock, at your own responsibility. Pool toys, and boats are not provided. Pool hours apply, you will have 6 hours of your own pool use a day. A private space in expansive countryside, the cottage is a perfect place for a short break. Always many birds to observe. In fall and winter, much geese, duck and deer watching. Guest access You will arrive through a private picturesque tree-lined entry lane. There is a gravel driveway to the front door. Parking is located in the back. Roads are lightly-traveled and great for walking or bike rides. Other things to note Access to the main house and gardens is not allowed. Boat lift is not available. Docking possible. There is some 3 feet of draft at end of dock at low tide. Up to 2 dogs allowed.
