Located in the heart of historic downtown Snohomish this delightful bungalow is walking distance to local eateries, shops, Centennial Trail, seasonal farmer's market, Snohomish River boat launch, parks and more! Walk right out the door and around the block and you’re experiencing charming small-town life. You will have a great opportunity to experience all things Snohomish including antiquing, rollerblading or biking on Centennial Trial, and watching parachuters at Harvey Field. This is a charming home built in the 1940s and recently renovated with modern features. Kitchen is full size with convenient, lux appliances and classic quartz countertops. You can bring home your farmers market bounty and prepare a meal of locally sourced delectables. You will enjoy the beautiful marble, standard shower in the cute fully updated bathroom. The living room has a deep comfortable couch for TV viewing or visiting. It can be made into a bed. The house is set up comfortably for four guests. The main bedroom is a cozy space with a queen bed and two windows bringing in light. The front bedroom has a pair of comfortable twin beds with standard closet. A sleeper-sofa is available in the living room that turns into a queen-size bed if additional guests would like to stay. Please message host if more than 4 guests will be staying. You can work remotely at the desk under the window in the spacious back entry. There are a full-size washer and dryer for your use in the utility area. Our active family has deep Snohomish roots. My husband’s family has been involved with the community for generations. Of course, we chose Snohomish to raise our family. We have built and renovated multiple homes in and around Snohomish. Our three, sweet, young boys keep us busy as we enjoy this life in our beloved town. Your enjoyment of our historic cottage and a wonderful stay in Snohomish is our goal. Guests will have access to the whole house, attic, and the front yard. The driveway allows for one guest vehicle. Only guests are allowed to park in the driveway. There is also free, but competitive street parking. Local eateries and shopping is literally around the block from this house. Centennial trail is also a short walk away. Please note that while the house is a single story, there are a few stairs to go up in order to get to the front door. **There is a separate unit on the property that is occupied with a long term tenant and is not accessible to guests.** I love hosting and sharing this home and sweet town with guests. So much to do and all close if not within walking distance from the house! 2 vehicles can fit in the driveway with free, but competitive parking on the street. Given the age of this home, it has a lot of character. One of its quirks is that the back room where the desk is, can be a little cooler than other part of the home. A stand-alone space heater is provided in case it is too chilly for your liking. Guests can indulge in locally roasted coffee from Vista Clara coffee in Keurig or drip form. The spices, salt, pepper, and olive oil are supplied. However, other condiments are not supplied.
