Granite countertops, new appliances, comfortable furniture and lots of beautiful views of the lake make for a relaxing retreat The house has broad views of Base Line Lake and up the Huron River. There are floor to ceiling doors that give wonderful views. The master bedroom has 270 degree views out several windows to the lake and the river. With four full bedrooms and 10 beds, this house can sleep a lot of people, and yet at 2,000 square feet is intimate enough to feel like home. There's a gas fireplace in the main living area, a big dining room table that can easily accommodate 12 people. While most houses on the lake are on small lots, this one sits on 1.75 lots, giving it a nice big side yard with plenty of room for lawn games, and with a firepit steps from the water for cozy campfires. There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor, including the expansive master suite with a big king bed that looks out over the entire lake and up the Huron river. The master bedroom has a daybed and a small television set with Chromecast for streaming from your phone. The mater bathroom has a big walk in tiled shower and a large closet with washer and dryer (new within the past few years) and dual vanities. The colorful bunk room can comfortably sleep 5 people with a pull out mattress. The remaining guest room has a queen size bed. Both of these upstairs bedroom share a full bath in the 2nd floor hallway. On the main floor, a fourth guest room has a full size bed with a twin sized pull out underneath, and can sleep 3 people. There is also a half bath on the main floor. The entire home was built from the ground up in 2012. The refrigerator and dishwasher are both new within the past 2 years. The kitchen is full of useful appliances: coffee maker, electric water kettle, waffle maker, coffee grinder, full size ninja blender and more. High speed wifi throughout the house, Sonos sound system with great outdoor speaker. Outdoors, there is a large deck looking out to the water, with a large table with space for up to 8 to eat comfortably and a second picnic table in the yard. There is a gas grill available for use. All spaces in the house except for a locked walk in master closet (there are dressers to use and a closet in the master bathroom) locked utility room and a locked under staircase closet. All bedrooms and bathrooms and common rooms are available. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils and seasoning and other cooking essentials. Paper towels and toilet paper are supplied, as well as towels and all linens. The neighborhood is full of lake dwellers, and people are friendly. The next door neighbors in the blue house are good friends and are there to assist if needed. Multiple parking spots - two in the driveway and two in a roadside cut out. During summer months, this home is available on a weekly basis only. Also, please note that while this home is located close enough to Ann Arbor to make it accessible, it can sometimes be difficult to get Ubers or Lyfts to come pick up in Pinckney. It is easy to get rides back to the house from Ann Arbor, but if you intend to visit Ann Arbor and stay at this property, it is best that you plan on bringing your own vehicle.
