An atrium off the hallway with two majestic redwoods inside that is closed in with local reclaimed barnwood is a feature you have to see for yourself. Close by is the small downtown with organic local grocery store, restaurants, and quaint shops. Henry Cowell State Park /Roaring Camp and Big Basin Redwood State Park are near as well for walks and hikes in the redwoods. Boulder Creek golf course and many wineries are within a few miles. The beach is about a 20 minute drive. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and UCSC are 15 miles away. Camp Campbell is 3 miles up Highway 9 if you have a kiddo staying there and would like to be nearby : ) The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need to prepare meals. Guest access You will have access to the entire house with a keycode, the fully fenced/enclosed front and back yard, and plenty of parking in the driveway. The front pathway from the driveway is paved, 3 small steps up into the house on the porch make it an ideal place for those that need an easily accessed home due to illness or disability. The home is fully fenced in if you have dogs. There is a large back deck for gathering, with a gate to keep your furry friends close. Or open the back deck gate and let them circle the property without getting out. Other things to note Animals are welcome at the Lilac Cabin! The yard is fully fenced. The home is also child friendly. There are no stairs inside the house which makes it easy to get around and no sloping from the driveway up to the house so it is also senior friendly. There is a large deck in the back with a gate to keep your furry friends near you.
