Welcome to The Way UP Cottage- our cozy cottage in the porcupine mountains! You’ll enjoy all the luxuries of home while you are visiting Michigan's breathtaking Upper Peninsula. If you’re looking to work from home, we have fast WiFi for all your internet and streaming needs. The space Our recently remodeled 1970’s cottage is sitting on just under half an acre surrounded by beautiful birch and evergreen trees, and just across the street from the clear waters of Lake Superior. The house backs up to a forest and there is plenty of room for your pets to run around in the backyard. The home is furnished with one King sized bed in the master bedroom, and two twin sized beds in the second bedroom. Can fit 4 on the beds, but we also have a couch and a queen size blow up mattress available to use if you need space for 2 more. The living room has plenty of sitting space for you to relax and stream a movie on Netflix or Hulu on the flatscreen tv. In terms of amenities, we've got you covered too! You'll have access to small, yet important, things like: An iron, blow dryer, towels, napkins etc. Pets incur a one time fee of $25 for the entire stay, not per pet. Guest access You'll have access to the entire home. This will include the driveway with parking, back patio and outdoor spaces. The garage is not for guests to use or park in. Other things to note In an effort to maintain a secure premises, the cottage is equipped with three exterior cameras. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras on the inside. Please no garbage dumping. There is no garbage on-site. Everything is hauled off-site so please do not bring or leave excess garbage at the cottage. Only well behaved pets are allowed at the house. If your dog requires a crate to be sequestered in, please provide. Do not leave pets unattended at the house. The garage is not for guests to use. Please refrain from parking or using the garage during your stay.
