We’re in Port Jefferson Station, less than 10 minutes from Cedar Beach! This listing is for a private bedroom in our home, which we share with our dog. The room is on the main floor, next to the shared bathroom and our bedroom. House Guidelines 🚭 No smoking indoors 🐾 Keep dog gates closed when passing through the kitchen 🍴 Kitchen use limited to sink, toaster, and fridge water/ice 📖 Please read the full House Rules section The space The guest bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed with fresh pillows and a blanket. For added convenience, you’ll also find a small dining table with two chairs, a spacious closet, and a nightstand with a lamp—perfect for nighttime reading. A bedroom door key is provided for your privacy and peace of mind. The room is thoughtfully stocked with: ○ Mini-fridge with freezer compartment (includes coffee creamer, two bottles of water, and milk) ○ 42-in Smart TV ○ Microwave ○ Coffee bar (Keurig with pods) ○ Hot water kettle ○ Filtered water pitcher (17-cup) ○ Complimentary mini bar with rotating snacks, plus cereal and oatmeal ○ Clothing steamer ○ White noise machine & ear plugs ○ Remote-controlled fan In the guest room, you’ll find a woven basket with complimentary toiletries, including body wash, shampoo/conditioner, and other essentials to make your stay more comfortable. Please note that the bathroom is shared with my husband and me. While we primarily use our upstairs bathroom when hosting, there may be occasional use of this one. Other Notes ○ Our home is located on a main road, so there may be some street noise. ○ The Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) is a few blocks away and may also be heard at times. ○ Garbage collection occurs early in the mornings: Mondays & Thursdays for trash, and Wednesdays for recycling (around 6:30–7:00 AM). I mention this in case the trucks create noise that may disturb light sleepers. ○ Please be aware that the bathroom shower and kitchen sink hot water heat up quickly—use caution when adjusting the temperature. Guest access The kitchen is not available for cooking. Guests may only use the refrigerator for water/ice. Abundant curbside parking is available. Please do not park in the driveway, as it is in active use. During your stay We enjoy being social and friendly, but we always respect our guests’ privacy. Other things to note Our Home & Ozzy Being dog-friendly is a must! Our Ozzy is a 12-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who, despite his age, is still full of puppy-like energy. He’s very friendly, loves attention, and may bark at times—but he’s not unruly. He’s happiest when he’s getting treats and pets. 🐾 Noise & Schedule We aren’t a super quiet household, and there are no strict “quiet hours.” We’re night owls—usually up until around 4 AM and late risers the next day. While we do our best to keep noise down, please note this is our home and reflects our lifestyle.
