Our 2021 27' Flying Cloud offers a stunning view of the Indiana landscape, providing an idyllic tiny home experience. The cozy bedroom features wrap-around windows, ensuring every morning is a spectacle, whether it's the vibrant spring blooms, summer songbirds, autumn colors, or snowy winter fields. Equipped with a queen-sized bed, ample storage, and a TV, the bedroom combines comfort with breathtaking views. The convertible dinette in the living area can sleep up to three people and doubles as an excellent workspace. For a fresh breeze and a connection with nature, simply open the back hatch—complete with a screen to keep the bugs at bay, it's our favorite feature! Climate control is a breeze with our efficient propane furnace and electric AC, easily managed via a wall thermostat. The Airstream includes a large fridge and freezer, a split bath with separate shower and toilet/sink areas, and a fully stocked kitchen with a propane stove, coffee maker, and all the necessary cookware. Stay connected with WiFi, enjoy movies on Apple TV, or set up a mobile office at the dining area. A monitor is available upon request. Relax on the spacious deck during the warmer months and warm up in the hot tub year round. The backyard is green 8-9 months out of the year complete with fire pit, garden, and tree swing. If you are a true hardcore Airstream Lover like we are, feel free to tour our 1971 31' Sovereign which is currently being renovated SLOWLY. Due to an Airstream being a special experience we do prefer to do a walkthrough that way her little corks don’t confuse our guests. If you are a returning guest we can do self check ins. We are usually home 90% of the time and here for whatever you may need or questions you may have. Hot tub is shared so we do try to communicate when we are using it which isn’t often. We are here to answer any questions, light the oven, bring out extra towels etc etc. just ask. :) We are located at the dead end of the last road in a small neighborhood located in town of 1000 people. We really only have 1 neighbor right now as the houses across from us is vacant and they are extremely welcoming to guests. In walking distance you will find a cafe for breakfast and lunch, an ice cream / coffee drive through, The Sweetser Switchtrail which is a part of a huge trail/walkway system that continues many many miles to the east and the west. You can also visit some of my personal favorite sunset viewing areas which I like to keep top secret as a photographer. Our tiny town has a Dollar General for any convenience or food you may need as well as a Subway Sandwich Shop. We are located 5 miles from Marion which is a city of 28,000 and home to IWU (Indiana Wesleyan University) and also a short distance from Taylor University in Upland. We are a family of 4 living full time on the property and the Airstream is an extension of our home. We constantly have projects going on and are a fairly busy family and will be in and out. We do have a dog who uses the backyard space and aside from being overly excited about life is a good dog. We are a magnet for a couple neighborhood stray cats who may linger around. Our guests will be met with a full tour so they learn the ins and outs of working the Airstream during their stay and then left to relax aside from the occasional running into each other as we do yard work or playing with our toddler outdoors. We are accessible to answer any questions during your stay. Considerate of your travel goals. Romantic weekend away as a couple. . . We tend to hide away in our indoor projects. If you are bringing kids who are social. . . Our toddler is available for outdoor toy tours. Here for a bachelorette party weekend? . . . We will make sure the atmosphere is ideal for a chill fun girls getaway.
