Our family home in Laurel Park is an easy eight minute drive on well paved roads from downtown Hendersonville, NC We've owned and managed rental property in Charleston SC for many years and now in NC! After vacationing in the mountains with our children and grandchildren several years ago we made the decision to keep the tradition alive by purchasing our mountain retreat in Laurel Park, not only for our family and friends but YOU as well! You will first be welcomed by the elegance of our expansive home and the beautifully landscaped grounds. You'll drive up the maintained drive to the first drive way and then a few more feet beyond to the two car garage and parking pad. Accommodating 6 cars easily. No steps getting into the main level. When entering "our" home, you will immediately be swept away by the 180 degree views from 2900 feet , incredible not only during the day, but night as well!! Whether watching the amazing sunrise over the mountain tops, enjoying your morning espresso, in the elegant, yet family friendly over sized living area with the large picturesque windows and floor to ceiling field stone fireplace (gas with remote). Or relaxing with your afternoon glass of pinot on the deck , watching the spectacular sunset while the twinkling lights from the city below give the illusion of fireflies flitting here and there. On cooler nights enjoy the warmth of the firepit for warming toes or making smores with family/friends. The main level has large den with 60" flatscreen TV, perfect for watching football or movies (Roku is "our" streaming provider on all 3 TV’s, perfect for streaming your preferred networks) with You Tube TV and Whole House Wifi. Off from the den is the recently renovated kitchen, complete with beautiful cabinetry, high end appliances, large center island with seating (Keurig k-cup and a Cuisinart Drip Coffee Maker, toaster oven, blender, etc) Of course, dinnerware, pots/pans, flatware, kitchen utensils, etc. Kitchen has a breakfast room (with large pantry) with seating for six to eight . The large dining room again with beautiful views (fyi~~ all the rooms have amazing views, the proper windows were selected to emphasize your surroundings!!) From the dining room and breakfast rooms you have a light filled reading room with two over sized chairs and sofa. The large deck has seating for 6 for dining al fresco. We also have a raised gas Fire Pit Table with seating for four. It doesn't get any better! Other things to note Have it all, spectacular views and convenient location in Laurel Park. Gracious sized rooms / open flow. Tremendous windows and extra large deck to enjoy views, wildlife and nature from both inside and out. Many recent updates have been done on this beautiful home.
