Located on a quiet street, while still close to the small-town charm and offerings of North Beach, Chesapeake Beach, and Herrington Harbor. Welcome to our one-bedroom cozy cottage complete with large living room, small sunny sitting room, office, and more bay views than you can count! You'll love the hardwood floors throughout, as well as how the generous windows and high ceilings make this space light and bright. When entering our home, you'll find the small sun-filled sitting room, which is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. Three chairs and a cozy rug make this a lovely place to sit and enjoy the view out the front windows. Our large living room space is complete with a couch, loveseat, and oversized chair. Plenty of pillows and blankets make it a great place to get comfy. The television has a built-in DVD player as well as streaming services including Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney+, and Netflix. We've stocked the cabinets with board games and books for a lazy day at home. Since our home is over 100 years old, our fireplace is for decorative use only. The kitchen and dining nook are well stocked for all your food prep needs. You'll find ample dishes, glassware, barware, and all the necessary pots and pans. The cabinets have plenty of space to stock your grocery supplies. Features include a full-sized refrigerator, oven and cooktop, and microwave. Our coffee bar has a brand new Keurig machine, and in the cabinets, you'll find a toaster, waffle iron, and handheld mixer. The dining table seats four and is another favorite place to enjoy the bay views. The large bedroom has a queen-sized Tempur-pedic mattress and upgraded Brooklinen bedding. We've made sure to tuck away extra blankets for those chilly nights. The room darkening curtains provide the perfect sleeping environment and all the privacy you could need. You'll find plenty of storage for your own items. The television has streaming access to Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime. In the well-stocked bathroom you'll find a marble-topped vanity with all the space you need for your personal items and a generous stack of towels. The Grecian soaking tub is extra deep but not as long as a standard tub, making it a lovely place to unwind; or enjoy the shower with dual heads including a rainshower overhead. At the back of our home, you'll find the office complete with two desks and a cozy chair. This is a great space to work from home. In the closet, you'll find a twin-sized foldaway bed, extra bedding, and pillows. Allowing you to set up an extra sleeping space if needed. The laundry closet is located off of the hallway and features a full-sized washer and dryer. The outdoor spaces of our cottage are the real star. You can access the back deck from both the bedroom and office space. The deck leads to multiple patio areas, with a dining area and a covered seating area. I'm sure you will love taking in the views of the bay and relaxing in this peaceful space. We're the second home from the water, so we have a lovely view from both the front and back yards, but you can also access the community green space that runs along the bay. This wide, grassy walkway allows you to walk along the bay, or you can carry down the outdoor chairs and sit along the water right at the end of our street. Exterior security cameras for your peace of mind. The entire space is yours to you, with the exception of one locked closet for our housekeeper's supplies. As a guest, you have shared access to the green space that runs along the bay for walking, and you're welcome to carry down outdoor chairs and sit by the water's edge. We're less than half a mile to the heart of North Beach and the start of the North Beach boardwalk. Here you will find numerous restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops, a wine bar, the post office, and more! Looking to explore more? We're 45 minutes from Washington, DC and there is even a commuter bus that can take you from North Beach all the way into DC on weekdays. We're about 35 minutes south of Annapolis. Parking: You have the option of parallel parking in front of the house, or pull-in parking facing the fence on the opposite side of the street. Just be sure you don't block the neighbors trash can gate in the fence. Driving: We're closely located to Herrington Harbor, the heart of North Beach, and Chesapeake Beach. Many restaurants in North Beach are 0.3 miles away, so many people choose to walk. However, there is also street parking and a small free parking lot in town as well.
