The front unit of our family-friendly, non-toxic home in Talladega County features a fully stocked kitchenette, dining, bedroom, full bathroom, screened front porch.  We are as allergen-free and eco-friendly where possible (no animals or artificial fragrance), use mostly organic or OEKO-Tex certified linens and towels. Bedroom features a King size organic Awara Med/Soft bed. The space We enjoy hosting guests who understand the value of our property regarding organic/non-toxic living. We don't have a microwave by design! The front unit is limited to 3 guests. Bedroom has a king bed, and living room has a chair which unfolds to a twin size. The beds and pillows each have a different firmness or thickness in hopes of meeting the comfort level of each guest! Guests have access to the front of the home only, with all exterior spaces being shared. Our home is now two units and there may be others on site. Guests do not share indoor spaces. There are several laundromats nearby. We prefer our home to be artificial fragrance free, animal free, gluten free, alcohol/tobacco free. SPECIFIC TO MONTHLY STAYS: Having packages delivered to the front door is fine but there is no regular mail delivery, so if that is a need, a PO box may be obtained close by. We are as eco-friendly and non-toxic as possible and offer organic or OEKO-TEX linens and towels. We will provide clean towels and linens each week by exchanging the ones used - these are never to be taken off site or washed by guests. We also stock and replenish the dish detergent, hand soap, shampoo, coffee filters, cleaners, etc. Guest access We are a country property! We feel the calm, family-friendly atmosphere we are creating, enjoyable yard and outdoor spaces definitely outweighs the quirks of the house and its surroundings. We cannot control what neighbor properties are like, but we have provided 8-foot privacy fencing. We hope our home will be a retreat from the pace of life as you enjoy the beauty of God’s creation on our property. Located just 2 miles off U.S. 280 between Birmingham and Auburn/Opelika, and 3 miles off SR21. PROPERTY IS SPLIT INTO TWO SEPARATE UNITS. DRIVEWAY AND PARKING WILL BE SHARED, WHILE GUESTS HAVE THEIR OWN ENTRANCE AND COMPLETELY SEPARATE INTERIOR SPACES. GUESTS IN EITHER UNIT MAY ENJOY EXTERIOR SPACES AS SHARED SPACES. NEITHER UNIT OFFERS LAUNDRY, MICROWAVE, OR MAIL DELIVERY. PLEASE READ RULES AND AMENITIES THOROUGHLY TO SEE IF OUR HOME IS RIGHT FOR YOUR STAY. We provide non-toxic, gluten free, quality shampoos/soaps so you can feel good about what’s going into the ground. Please leave our amazing products when you depart for the next guests to enjoy! In order to have the house temperature changed, please contact me. Guests will not have access to change the temperature. My home has five different water heaters. The master shower will run hot water for 10 minutes. If more hot water is desired, the showerhead flow can be adjusted to less gallons/minute to have hot water longer. No animals, no tobacco usage, no profanity/vulgarity around children present as this is our family home. As a monthly rental and shared space we ask for cooperation in observing quiet hours, pest control access, changing air filter, clean towel and linens exchange, lawn care, etc.
