The space This large and welcoming three-bedroom home was built in 2005 and recently fully remodeled, inside and out. We are just a few minutes (walkable!) from town, where you can find food, drinks, coffee, hip & unique desert shopping, and more. We are also less than a 10 minute drive from the National Park's main entrance, where you can get a front row seat to Joshua Tree's one-of-a-kind landscape, whether by way of hiking trail or a peaceful drive. Additionally, the home is located just 35-40 minutes from beautiful Palm Springs. The house sleeps up to 6 people comfortably. Its spacious open floor plan offers tons of room for you and your group to sit and dine, including a proper piano bar with distinguished old western flair—a great spot for photos! (Sorry folks, alcohol not included!). The large master bedroom is situated on its own dedicated side of the house, offering a cozy reading nook, and private on-suite bathroom with direct backyard access. Stroll around the property to explore the half-buried cars and pianos of yesteryear, or pass time in the yard with a spacious patio, hot tub, cowboy pool, fire pit, grill, hammock, and games. Please note that the cowboy pool is functional only during the months of May through September; exact opening and closing dates will vary and are weather-dependent. The hot tub is functional year-round! This one-of-a-kind desert getaway truly offers everything you need to enjoy all the magic that Joshua Tree has to offer. The house can easily accommodate a couple, family, or small group. We kindly ask that you do not allow more than 6 guests, and always reach out to us first if you'd like to have additional visitors during your stay. We are located in a close-knit neighborhood, so no parties or excessively loud music, please! We also ask that you please treat the house as if it were your own; we poured our hearts into making this space our desert dream! Guest access Guests have access to the entire property with the exception of the garage and one “owner’s closet”. Other things to note Please note that we are unable to accommodate requests for early check-in or late check-out. We maintain full occupancy just about 100% of the time, so every clean is a same-day turnover. Although we would love to make exceptions, messages requesting this may go unanswered. Thank you in advance for understanding. If you would like to have any guests outside of those listed on your reservation visit the home during your stay, this must be disclosed and requested beforehand, and is subject to pre-approval on a case-by-case basis. There is a $250 per night fine for any unapproved visitors who spend the night in the home or on the premises. There is a $500 fine should we become aware of any unauthorized events or parties. We have a strict no pets policy! If you are traveling with a service animal, it is required to notify us in advance. There is a $50 pet fee per authorized pet, and a $200 fine for unauthorized pets in the home. We do not provide firewood, though you may get lucky with previous guests leaving some behind. The kitchen is equipped with all cookware and dinnerware needed to prepare and enjoy a meal, but please bring your own preferred seasoning and additional ingredients.
