Need a place to stay while you’re renovating? Working remotely from NYC for a bit? Moving to the neighborhood and want to scope it out before deciding where to settle? This is the place for you! Ground floor apartment — we live above with our two young sons. We are extremely considerate and try our best to keep noise to an absolute minimum. Both kids are up by 630am and asleep by 8PM. If you’d find the bustle of a family above disruptive, this might not be the place might not be for you. The space Recently renovated to maintain the charm of a historic Bed-Stuy brownstone, but with stylish touches. Original tin ceilings and wainscoting juxtapose the matte natural finished white oak floors. You’ll have a private entrance through the ground floor with shoe and coat storage. Note: this entrance is through a common hallway we use to access the basement from time-to-time. We have a separate entrance to our apartment. There is an outside gate, outside door, and internal doors, all of which have locks and an added sense of privacy/security. The bedroom has a queen sized bed, with a Purple memory foam mattress and Brooklinen comforter. There are nightstands on either side of the bed and a wardrobe with hanging bar and drawers. Crib/toddler bed, as well as a Pack’n’play are available upon request for an additional $50 charge. The living room has a sofa that converts into a full sized bed that can sleep two, but may be tight for two adults. Important to note, there are no doors to separate the living room from the kitchen. There There is a 55” TV with Netflix and HBO available, along with a FIOS extender for maximum Wifi coverage of the 1GB service. The kitchen has all-new appliances and is cooking ready, complete with flatware/dishes for 4. A microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher make life easier. By the back door is a cozy office nook, with lovey views of the beautifully landscaped backyard complete with cedar fence, making for a peaceful workspace. We’re sorry, but outdoor space/access is not provided. We do spend time in the backyard, are respectful of guests privacy, but also friendly. In the winter months, radiators keep the apartment cozy, and brand new mini-split AC units keep the apartment cool in the summer. The brand new windows open from top (or bottom) which is a huge plus in a garden apartment and allow for lovely breezes in the spring/fall. The bathroom is immaculate, with marble tile floors and crisp white subway tiles. The shower is stocked with Puracy bath wash, shampoo and conditioner. Other things to note Pending availability, we provide early checkin/late checkout for an additional $50 fee. Please inquire if needed. Guests who book with us must be present at time of check-in and all guest counts must be listed at point of booking. We reserve the right to refuse entrance and cancel reservations for individuals not accompanied by the Airbnb user who booked the reservation, or for groups that exceed four in size.
