Serene studio apartment, stand alone structure in a beautiful ponderosa pine forest. This quiet apartment has a king sized bed, full bath with bathtub, a kitchenette with Keurig coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, mini fridge, sink, dishes etc. There is a desk/ dedicated work space and Wifi. A TV, love seat and coffee table. A private neighborhood walking trail one block away that goes to a pond. Free on site parking. Coded door entry. Provided toiletries and snacks. And sunset view. The space This is a beautiful quiet retreat in a gorgeous ponderosa pine tree forest. The apartment has a sunset view through the trees. The apartment is above the detached garage of our house. The garage is only used for storage so no one is driving in and out. We are on a cul du sac in a quiet neighborhood with one acre lots, so you can see some neighboring houses but the space is very private. It has a walking trail to a duck pond, the trail is about a mile long, with the entry to the trail being one block away. There is also an amazing spot to see the sunset over Pikes Peak just over the hill. Historic downtown Monument is only a few miles away and has some cute shops and restaurants. Guest access There is a back deck just for you, it connects to the larger deck behind our house. You are sharing the larger property with the main house and my family will be around and you will see us coming and going. Other things to note If you need the air mattress set up, please let me know ahead of time so it will be ready when you arrive. We have two twin air mattresses, and a pack-n-play. Just let me know what you need set up! There is no smoking OR vaping in or around the property. Thank you for understanding. If you have your doggy friend with you, please keep them on leash while around the house, take them to the designated potty area, and pick up after their business.
