"La casa de Piero", a spacious furnished apartment located on the first floor of a typical Belluno house, is an ideal place for nature lovers. The guest can spend a relaxing holiday in a private and quiet environment. The house is located in a clearing overlooking the Piave valley below and is the starting point for numerous hiking trails within the Belluno Dolomites park and to the most famous Dolomite resorts. The space The house is located in a clearing at an altitude of 700 m in the locality of Roncoi in the municipality of San Gregorio Nelle Alpi, characterized by a dry climate with a pleasant warmth during the day and cool in the evening. The building is thermally insulated with a large terrace to the south and does not require cooling of the rooms in the hottest periods. The large courtyard is paved in porphyry, the garden with green borders and large lawn are suitable for outdoor life using the sun loungers or for convivial gatherings favored by the use of outdoor chairs and tables and the barbecue located next to the garden. The place is located in an unspoiled rural setting and the guest will have the pleasure of relaxing while listening to birds singing and watching birds of prey fly. A short distance away are the cities of Belluno and Feltre, both known for the beauty of the historic center, for the museums and works of art of their churches, as well as for the shops and restaurants, in San Gregorio you can visit the museum of Zocche and Tarsia, in Cesiomaggiore that of the Bicycle and the ethnographic museum of the province of Belluno. From the house you can directly leave to enter the Belluno Dolomites park and access the UNESCO heritage site of Mount Pizzocco. In a short time you can reach the Treviso foothills with the Prosecco wine hills, or the art cities of Treviso, Trento or Bassano. The place is central for visiting the Dolomite resorts of Cortina and Fiera di Primiero or for reaching Venice, for sailing lovers you can reach Lake Santa Croce, for canoe lovers Lake Corlo. On Mount Avena, the paragliding school with its instructors can give you the thrill of flying. In Pedavena, you can visit the Park Museum and in the Brewery, which is characterized by ancient copper boilers, you can taste an excellent beer accompanied by characteristic snacks.
