Located central to all of the offerings of Newton County Ark. Activities include canoeing/kayaking the Buffalo River. Trails in the National Park, Ozark National Forest, & state forest. Elk Viewing at Boxley, Climbing at Horseshoe Canyon, Zip Lining, ATV/OHV, Mountain Biking, Caving, Driving routes, & Waterfall chasing. The space Come stay at a home that has been thoughtfully designed for all of needs while staying in Newton County. We are excited to offer our guests a custom-built topographic wall map with coordinating guidebook to help you get where you want to go. There are 3 bedrooms (2 Kings,1 Queen) with luxury bedding. Our game room comes with a full-sized Air Hockey table, Ping Pong table, & assortment of indoor/outdoor games. The game room includes a Queen size sofa sleeper that provides for additional sleeping arrangements. An extra large living room with WIFI T.V. & DVD library collection. Two FULL bathrooms stocked with towels and basic toiletries. You will have a fully stocked kitchen with plates, pans, microwave, stove, coffee maker, dishwasher & more. We offer a fenced backyard with fire pit, propane grill & patio with table & chairs. Come and enjoy your morning coffee on the Hiker's Hangout front porch before you begin your days adventure. Home Nightly Rental Permit #2020-3-012 Guest access -While staying at the Hiker's Hideaway of Jasper guests are within walking distance of most attractions & amenities. Jasper does have a Harps for your grocery list, along with a local Dollar store to pick up anything you might need. -Guests will be provided a code for door entry that is newly generated for each guests stay. -We ask guests to only park in the gravel parking spots in front of the home. Please do not use parking lot across from home, or park on lawn of the property. Other things to note -Newton County Arkansas is a "Dry" County and we remind our guests to BYOB before arriving. The closest options for alcohol is the Kingston River Store coming from the west, or Harrison to the North. -We have been enjoying Newton County Arkansas and the National Buffalo River area since 2009.
