Quiet flat in the Heart of the Old Town

In the heart of the historical center of Nice, tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac, this charming, newly renovated apartment has everything you need for an authentic, comfortable stay in Nice. The space With its cozy bedroom, beautiful bathroom and old traditional clay tiles, this well-equipped flat is ideal for a couple but can sleep up to 4 people. Situated at the foot of the Castle Hill Park, a 5-minute walk away from the beach, the flat is at the top of the legendary Rue Rossetti. You’ll be right in the heart of the bustling Old Town, with its restaurants, shops and nightlife, yet still be able to get a good night’s sleep in a peaceful atmosphere. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE APARTMENT IS LOCATED AT THE TOP OF RUE ROSSETTI, WHICH IS ON A SLOPE. The walk up can be a little effort, especially if you're carrying heavy luggage. If this might be difficult for you, it’s good to take that into account before booking. That said, once you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with a lovely view over the street — and the apartment itself is on the 1st floor, with only a short flight of stairs to climb. From the airport: Take the tram right at the airport exit in the direction of "Port Lympia" and get off at the tram stop called "Garibaldi/Chateau". From there it's an 8 minute walk to the flat. From the train station: Get off at the tram stop called "Cathédrale/Vieille Ville". From there it's a 5 minute walk to the flat. ------------ Cars & Parking in the Old Town: THE OLD TOWN IS MOSTLY PEDESTRIAN & is only accessible to resident's cars. Most taxis will drop you off right outside the Old Town (Rue Centrale is a good stopping point) & there'll be a short uphill walk to the flat. Keep this in mind if you have a lot of heavy luggage. There are a number of secure underground parking lots in the Old Town that cost around 24€-30€/24 hours and ~10€/night (Cheapest one is "Corvesy"). Like most cities in France, parking isn't free anywhere downtown. You can park in any of the streets around the Old Town for free at night, but between 9am-8pm you’ll have to feed the parking meter every 2 hours, which you can do from afar using the 'PayByPhone' app. To find free street parking you have to get a bit out of the center. The closest to the Old Town is on the streets heading up to Mont Boron, then hop on the bus (n°33) back down, or in the area called Cimiez (bus n°70).
