We’re here if you need anything—recommendations, extra supplies, or local insight—but we fully respect your privacy. ⸻ 📌 Other Things to Note • Located on a private easement road; you may see neighboring goats, sheep, and cows on your way in • Horses frequently graze the back fence line • No shared walls or guest units—this is a private retreat • Grass and landscape change with the season (gold in summer, green in winter) • Please inquire ahead for accessibility requests ⸻ 🏷️ House Rules • No smoking • No parties or events • No pets allowed • Quiet hours: 10pm–8am • Please respect the home, land, and neighboring peace Guest access 🚗 Guest Access & Arrival Info • Guests have full access to their private home and fully fenced yard. • For your safety, please drive only (do not walk) on the ¼-mile private road leading to the property. This easement crosses neighboring land and is often visited by curious goats who occasionally escape their fence to say hello. Please share this detail with everyone in your group. • Driving is required to access The Bask House. Uber and Lyft do service the area, and many guests use them for wine tasting or food delivery. Just be sure to provide your driver with the exact address, as GPS may sometimes direct them to the wrong road across from the property. • Onsite parking is marked for up to two vehicles. If you’ll need additional space, just let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate. Other things to note 🧼 Check-Out Instructions We believe in mutual respect. Please leave Bask with the same care and love you found upon arrival. • Wash and put away any remaining dishes • Leave used sofa sleepers in the open position • Kindly turn off the heat, close and lock all windows, and lock all doors • Unopened food may be left for the next guest — thank you! • If anything was broken, damaged, or needs attention, please let us know. We understand that life happens and appreciate the heads up. • In rare cases, an extra cleaning fee may apply if the home needs significantly more cleaning than usual ⸻ 🌬️ Home Features • A whisper-quiet air filtration system runs 24/7 • The home is well insulated and stays cool, even during heat waves. A portable fan is provided but rarely needed • Central gas heat and an eco-friendly electric fireplace are available. Please turn them off when not in use or when windows are open. Try to keep heat under 68°F. Excessive use may result in additional charges of $50 per day. • Very strong WiFi and a workspace suitable for remote work ⸻ 🛁 Laundry + Spa Services • There’s no washer or dryer in the home, but we partner with a nearby organic laundry service that offers wash-and-fold with pickup and delivery • In-home spa services may be available with advance notice (ideally two weeks) ⸻ 🚪 Privacy + Host Interaction Your privacy and rest are deeply respected. We live next door on the two-acre property. While our homes are completely separate, you may see us in passing. We’ll always use the app to communicate unless there’s an urgent or emergent need. ⸻ 🐔 Animals & Land • No pets allowed, out of respect for neighboring livestock • Please drive, not walk, on the quarter-mile road to the property. It’s a shared easement and sometimes crossed by curious goats • No smoking anywhere on the property. Guests must leave the grounds entirely if they wish to smoke • Chickens live in the “Chicken Coupe Deville.” They’re friendly and very sweet. Our rooster is a gentleman 💛. • This is country living. You may see a bug, spider, or a little mud during wet weather • Please be cautious on uneven terrain. We do not irrigate the lawn due to drought-conscious landscaping, and mowing is limited during fire season • Please rinse before entering the hot tub and close the lid after each use. Do not leave children unattended. Additional charges may apply if cleaning or damage is required ⸻ ♿ Accessibility The home is single-level and wheelchair accessible. The bathroom allows for in-and-out access, but not full 360° turning space. There is a 4-inch step at the front door and small lips between some rooms and the shower, so please step with care. ⸻ 🏡 Home Comforts & Info • Bedrooms do not have locks due to our open loft-style layout • We use high-quality doTERRA essential oils throughout the home. Let us know if you’re sensitive to scent — we’re happy to leave them out if preferred • No open flames or candles, inside or out. Due to wildfire risk, BBQs and fire pits are also not allowed. Please don’t bring your own • There is no garbage disposal, dishwasher, or kitchen hood. We provide two dish drains, hand towels, and drain catchers to keep cleanup easy ⸻ 👥 Guest Policies • Only registered guests are allowed on the property. Maximum of 6 people at any time • The person who books must be present for the entire stay. No third-party bookings • If unregistered guests arrive without approval, or if the person who booked is not present, guests may be asked to leave without refund • No parties or gatherings. Any group over 6 will be considered a party and asked to leave, in line with county rules • Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM (Sonoma County ordinance) • Check-in is anytime after 4 PM. Please let us know if you’ll be arriving later than 10 PM • Check-out is by 11 AM • Late check-out without approval is $30 per 15 minutes past 11 AM • Early check-in may be available for an added fee if a cleaner is needed to prep the home ⸻ 🎥 Cameras & Safety • Three exterior security cameras are installed: one at the entry gate, one at the driveway, and one at the front door. They record audio and video continuously, but footage is only reviewed if needed • Tampering with or disabling any camera is grounds for immediate cancellation without refund • There is a speed bump at the entry — please drive slowly and watch for children and animals Registration Details TVR21-008
