Minutes to fly fishing/ west branch of the Delaware river. The space This is the ideal vacation spot for city dwellers. The air is crisp and the water is clear. One of New York’s highest rated lakes , gaining notoriety as the filming backdrop of tv shows, but retains the small town feel you crave for a relaxing mountain lake getaway. Also situated minutes from the west branch of the Delaware river - known as the birthplace of American fly fishing. The cottage is a charming one level with three bedrooms and a large open concept living space. Brand new appliances and a gourmet butcher block island; cabinets stocked with plentiful cooking and bakeware one might need for their stay. Primary bedroom - one master bed and en-suite large bathroom with both a soaking tub and walk in tiled shower. Please note that the primary closet is currently a locked owner’s closet. There is a dresser and two nightstands for guest use. Twin bedroom - two twin beds, dresser, and closet. Ideal for both children and adults. Queen bedroom - queen bed, two nightstands, dresser, and closet available for guest use. There is a three season finished porch open May-October perfect for movie nights on soft leather furniture. Outside you will find an amazing waterfront patio with huge outdoor fire place and brick oven. A green egg charcoal smoker and a propane griddle round out all your outdoor cooking essentials. There is a lovely covered porch off the main room ideal for breakfasts and cocktails. Brand new dock with covered cabana and Adirondack chairs. Sprawling yard ideal for games of capture the flag and sparklers with the kids. We currently have 2 kids kayaks, 2 adult kayaks, and a double adult kayak for your use. There’s also a pink paddle boat on shore you’re free to put in and paddle around. We want you to have fun! Guest access A flat paved driveway allows easy entrance to the property and park where all cars will be parked. There are two entrances, the “main” one is up a few stairs and has a keypad with lock changed between stays. Other things to note Peak season Memorial Day to Labor Day - 3 night minimum, but can ask for special consideration.
