This apartment offers vintage charm with an updated kitchen. Each room has hardwood floors and is beautifully lit with a wall of windows. The unit is the downstairs apartment of a duplex. 1100 sq.ft. Guests often remark that it's bigger than they expected. The location is a quiet residential neighborhood blocks from Lake Merritt and two extensive shopping areas. Children are welcome but please note the apartment is NOT child-proofed. Inclusion of pets is negotiable with additional fee. The space The primary bedroom has a high quality queen-sized bed and the second bedroom/office has a good quality, queen-sized sofa bed as well as a desk. Both bedrooms have darkening shades. The living room and adjoining dining room are full size. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub. The linens are high quality. Guest access An off street parking space for an average size car is included. SUVs, etc. may not fit. Other things to note There is an additional charge of $10/night for each guest above two. This does not apply to children under 4 years old. If you let me know I will adjust this fee. Children are welcome but please NOTE that the unit is NOT child-safety-proofed. Parents are responsible for safety precautions and breakage prevention. Visitors not on the rental agreement are welcome but may not spend the night without my explicit permission. I will provide a weekly load of laundry for guests staying a week or more. The parking space provided is only big enough for an average- sized car, e.g. trucks or SUVs may not fit.
