The property is surrounded by a lush private garden. The space THE LOCATION Rye is approximately 1 hour drive from Melbourne CBD and benefits from both bay and ocean beach destinations. The cottage is a leisurely 1km stroll to Rye Village and Bay beach. Other attractions include; 5min drive to Peninsula Hot Springs 5min drive to The Dunes Golf Course 10min drive Gunnamatta Horse Riding 10min drive to Sorrento Village 10min drive to St Andrews Brewery 15min to Red Hill Wineries & Markets National Parks / Beach Walking Trails LIVING Inside the cottage is cosy and comfortable with the ability to host two families, however be advised there is only one bathroom. Brand new carpets throughout. The sizable main living room has high level celestory windows, a cozy log fire place, comfy sofa and large screen 75 inch TV / Netflix and many books and board games. The relaxed kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances. This part of the home boasts a separate dining room housing an eight seater dining table in front of a large open fire. The bathroom, complete with shower over the bath, includes washer / dryer. A large air conditioner within the main living area keeps the house cool in summer. There are also overhead fans located in the two large bedrooms, gas wall-heater in the main living area, plus firewood provided during winter stays. GARDEN The front yard is filled with lush creeping Ivy and lovely fragrant lavendar. The spacious rear garden is perfect for kids and pets to run around. Set amongst beautiful Ti Tree's is a large 8 seater picnic table ideal for summer dining. The undercover decking area also includes designer table and chairs. Cape cod chairs ensure you can sit back next to the olive trees, relax and enjoy a glass of wine or read a book. Pets are welcome inside, however please do not allow pets on furniture or beds. The back yard is fenced, however they are old, so please keep an eye on your pet at all times. Please note: due to our high standard of holiday accommodation we do not accept schoolies, bucks, groups under 21 years of age, nor do we accept parties or events due to strict council regulations. This excludes family bookings travelling with children under 18 years of age.
