Perfect for couples on a private getaway or a private solo retreat - the mountain is waiting for you. The space The entire lower level is yours to relax, unwind and enjoy your stay. The Tara Healing Suite features a deeply resting queen bed and spa-like ensuite. The open area has stylishly appointed yet comfortable furniture and expansive forest views from every window. Though there is no full kitchen or sink facilities, for your convenience this level is equipped with a mini-fridge, induction burner, pot and pan, hot water boiler, and french press for coffee. Coffee, tea and sugar are also provided for your nourishment and pleasure. Guest access The entire lower floor with private entrance is yours to enjoy. The garage is shared with an upper tenant, however, one space is yours with direct entry to your suite. The property ranges from 4600-4900 feet in elevation. In winter, there is always a chance that there may be snow and either all-wheel-drive or chains required on Highway 20. Generally our guests eat in Nevada City which is about 20 minutes away, Grass Valley which is 25 minutes, Truckee which is 45 minutes, or Tahoe which is an hour in good driving conditions. Also the Harmony Ridge market is 15 minutes away, they have a deli with sandwiches and other convenient items. Often people eat out and then bring home easy snacks that can be stored in the mini-fridge. There is no kitchen in the ground floor suite. This is a beautiful and quiet retreat deep in nature. A lovely place to get away to.
