The first floor apartment is newly renovated with an open dining and living area, two bedrooms, an office and a full bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with all new appliances, toaster oven, blender, Keurig coffee maker, all dishes, pots, pans, utensils and seating for six people. The apartment has a queen bed in the first bedroom, two twin beds in the second bedroom and an office with a work desk and day bed that sleeps two. Plenty of closets as well throughout. All pillows, linens and blankets are provided. The apartment features WiFi, a Smart TV with Roku, Central A/C and a washer/dryer. It is the perfect "work from home" set up. The full bathroom features a tub, shower, towels and Dr. Teal's toiletries. Guests will have their own private backyard deck with grill. Off street parking is provided. Guests can travel to Honesdale from NYC via the ShortLine Hudson Bus. A car is likely preferred for getting around outside of town and visiting local attractions. Main Street Honesdale, however, is a short walk away. Most guests prefer biking and hiking nearby. Driveway and Street parking are available. Honesdale is a quaint town tucked away in the Pocono Mountains about 2 1/2 hours from NYC. Museums and architecture preserve pieces of Honesdale’s history while new shops, eateries, breweries and boutiques add a modern twist along Main Street. Honesdale has outdoor activities in both the summer and winter months, making this a year round destination - from skiing in the Pocono mountains to kayaking down the Lackawaxen River. Tanner Falls, The Stourbridge Line, The Dorflinger Glass Museum, Prompton State Park, Delaware River White water rafting, Sky Top Lodge, Big Bear Ski Resort, The Lodge at Woodloch, Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational Area, and Raymondskill Falls are all nearby.
