Description

Come and get your groove back in our '70s themed 3 bedroom, 2 bath house. With two large, separately fenced front and back yards, this comfortable and spacious home sleeps up to 8 guests and pets ($30/pet.) Located 1.2 miles from the interstate and 2 miles from downtown Hendersonville, That '70s House offers a funky getaway, filled with records, VHS movies, and an old school gumball machine. Our goal is for our guests to have a far-out experience and we hope to host you on the flip-side. The space The lowdown on our ‘70s pad: We have updated some basic amenities in order to provide guests with modern day comforts; however, some of our accessories are genuinely vintage so consideration of the space is totally rad. The two larger bedrooms are cozy and get great light with queen sized Tuft & Needle mattresses. The "master" bedroom also has an adjoining, smaller bathroom with a stand-up shower. Both larger bedrooms and the living room TVs are equipped with Roku and have access to Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime, while the two bedroom TVs also have built-in VHS/DVD players. We have plenty of movies in both to choose from (kids movies are in bedroom 3 and the rest are in the living room.) The third bedroom has an XL Twin Tuft & Needle mattress and a full sized futon. We are currently in the process of upgrading this vintage TV, so for now, the TV in this room is just for decoration. The second bathroom is in the hallway and has a shower/tub combo with a seated-vanity and a fab slew of mirrors for all of your primping needs. If you're a closet disco queen and you appreciate boogying down, we have a record player (that also connects to bluetooth, if you don't feel like flipping records) in the living room, along with the third TV. The living room has a large couch and several comfy chairs as well as a spacious amount of floor space for an ultra snooze-worthy blow up mattress. The kitchen is fully stocked with a stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, other appliances, and cooking ware. We provide coffee, coffee filters, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Be sure to check out some of the more unique items in the pantry and the drawers. If you feel like chillaxing outdoors with your crew or your furry friends the front and back yards are huge. While the back yard is safely fenced in for pet-friendly, off-leash fun, the front has one open area and is, therefore, more people-oriented—for now (we are working on remedying this.) If you hang a while, you may even be lucky enough to see unique family of white squirrels that live in the back! Guest access We like to clearly state that you have to drive through a junk-yard-looking property to gain access to the house; it is completely safe. However, once you get to the house, there is a 12ft metal fence in the front yard to preserve privacy. Other things to note Pets are welcome, the fee is a one time $30/pet fee for up to five nights. If the stay is longer than five nights, there will be an additional $30/pet fee. We accept up to 8 people but there is a charge of $25/guest per night over 5 people. This driveway only accommodates 4 cars and is a tight fit with that many so be wary with the number of cars you are bringing. The unit is only the upstairs of the house, no one will be down in the basement. It is used only for storage and possible future build out. There are no stairs once you get inside but there are stairs required to get inside. We don’t accept any animals that live outdoors, as we like to preserve the wildlife and ecosystem surrounding the property.
