Apartment 5 is a light bright, spacious studio apartment on the first floor of this grand old Victorian villa. It overlooks the Rose Garden at the side of the property. The apartment has a sparkling new separate kitchen and ensuite with shower, sink & toilet. The main studio space contains a luxury pocket sprung king size bed, comfy sofa and SMART TV as well as a table & chairs for dining in or for use as a table at which to do work. We accept 1 adult dog on request not to be left unattended. The space The apartment is located in one of Torquay's grand old Victorian villas. It was originally built for a man who was a Member of Parliament for the area before it passed on to a colonial judge who named the building Muntham after the Hindi word for "Gentle Breeze". Although now divided into apartments, the building retains much of its original charm and still has very evident grandeur inside and out whilst also being a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. This studio apartment is on the first floor and is accessed by the grand staircase. It is surprisingly spacious and has a newly refitted kitchen with eye level oven, separate microwave combination oven, dishwasher, and coffee maker. Guests receive a complimentary welcome pack of teas, coffees and milk etc. There is also a shower room which has been recently refitted too. This features a large shower enclosure with electric shower. A complimentary welcome pack of toiletries is supplied to all guests. Overlooking the Rose Garden at the side of the property, the apartment is wonderfully tranquil and is flooded with morning light The main studio features a luxury king sized pocket sprung bed (UK size 5 foot width). All bedding and towels are included in the rate and for guests staying for more than 7 nights there is a complimentary bedding and towel change as well as a light clean. There is also a sofa as well as a table and chairs for dining. The apartment has a Smart TV. Guests have access to complimentary high quality WIFI. Wifi speeds normally available - Max download speed (Kbps): up to 106000 and Max upload speed (Kbps): up to 18000 At garden level, the property also has a communal laundry room where there are coin operated washers and dryers. Complimentary detergent is available. There are also ironing facilities here too. Other things to note We have two resident miniature sausage dogs called Oscar and Hector. they are very friendly little chaps who love to meet new people and make new friends. We also have a large fluffy cat called Banu We allow well behaved adult dogs in the apartment. Extra charges do apply. there is a limit to one dog per visit. Guests are fully responsible for their dogs including for any damage caused. We ask that dogs are not left unattended in the property and that they are kept on leads in the public corridors of the property.
