THE GOOD NEWS!!! All 4 CABINS on 13 acres were untouched by the storm. Our roads are open and trails accessible. Hot Springs is OPEN FOR BUSINESS! Thermal waters, brewery, pizza, diner, shopping, art and coffee shop are all ready for you! Enjoy our 4 private mountain cabins with views, hot tubs, fireplaces, reliable wifi, kitchens & grills. *Some dogs are ok with a pet fee and agreement. Please ask for more info. I get to create a fun & relaxing space for you to celebrate love, take some "Me time", unplug, go fishin, go hiking (the AT is right next door!!), vist the ancient thermal waters (6 minutes away!), or chill out in your own hot tub and look at the stars. I’ve been really lucky that I've had mostly excellent folks like yourselves come to stay at our cabins and share their joy and love for the place and each other! So thanks, its super personal to me. So as long as you're excellent people you are welcome at Hot Springs Treehouse Cabins, NC. That includes our canine guests too. THE PROPERTY The property has much to explore. There is a large communal forest platform with a fire pit next to it. We have a private trail about a 15 minute walk from the cabins down the mountain to Spring Creek. At the creek there is a small sandy beach and some large ancient rocks to sun yourselves on. Further along is our Gratitude Gazebo where you can chill out and enjoy the tranquility of the river. Fishing is allowed with a permit. Across the street from the cabins is a historic cemetery to explore. While we don't have direct access to the Appalachian Trail we are a 5 minute drive to the trail head. Our property boarders Pisgah National Forest. THE CABINS The cabins are open concept with the only privacy being in the bathrooms. All 4 cabins have hot tubs, gas fireplaces, gas grills, high speed fiber optic wifi and 50" TVs with the exception of cabin 1 which has a 32" TV. Cabins are about 70' apart from each other along the road. Cabins 1,2,& 4 have kitchens and Cabin 3 has a kitchenette. There are no dishwashers and laundry facilities may be used with conditions. Cabin 1 has a queen bed. Cabin 2 has 2 queen beds, a very comfortable pull-out sleeper sofa and a small futon loveseat that could sleep a child. Cabin 3 has a queen bed. Cabin 4 has a king-size bed and a love seat pull-out sleeper that can sleep one small person. Guest access The entire 13 acre property! Other things to note We are located up a dirt and gravel mountain road. While you do not need 4wheel drive 95% of the time, if we have snowy or icing conditions you will need it! There is a video available of the steepest part of the road for those who need some reassurance on what to expect. Please ask for more information if you have concerns.
